Kouvolan Juomatehdas is a company founded in 2017 that until 2023 has only produced artisanal beers under the auxiliary business name Panimo Hoppa. As the product range expands, operations will move under the Kouvolan Juomatehdas-Kouvola Drink Factory brand. The beers will still remain as Hoppa.
Our goal is to create a new kind of beverage production in the Kouvola region and manufacture high-quality, easily accessible products.
The original brewery is located in Kuusankoski, Kouvola, in the courtyard of the Old Store, in the former T-Ford so called Hoppa garage. In 2020, operations expanded to Kymin Ruukki.
Located in Kuusankoski, Kouvola, the Old Shop is a former merchant mansion built in 1925. The property houses the brewery's official sales point and a tap room. Find out more at www.vanhakauppa.fi
